Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL is a regionally producing theatre affiliated with Actor's Equity Association, The League of Resident Theatres, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and United Scenic Artists. Riverside Children's Theatre, the educational arm of Riverside, offers classes, camps, and training opportunities in the areas of theatre, dance, music, and video for all ages on a year round basis.

Content Creator - Social Media

Position: Content Creator/Social Media Manager

Summary:

Riverside Theatre is seeking a creative and data-savvy Content Creator/Social Media Manager to create our social media presence and content. This role will focus on increasing digital engagement and converting online audiences into loyal ticket buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital social media strategies that build brand awareness and boost engagement and drive ticket sales.

  • Manage Riverside Theatre’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok).

  • Design and create original, high-quality content—videos, stories, graphics, and campaigns.

  • Establish priorities and set campaign objectives, budget, and relevant KPIs

  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads).

  • Implement and maintain email marketing campaigns (audience segmentation, A/B testing).

  • Monitor analytics including campaign analytics and provide monthly reports with actionable insights to optimize campaign performance.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to define realistic goals and identify more effective approaches to our digital marketing efforts

  • Collaborate with marketing, box office, and artistic teams to align promotions with productions.

  • Ensure consistent voice and visual branding across digital platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years experience in digital marketing, social media, or related field.

  • Strong portfolio of digital content creation (especially short-form video).

  • Proficient with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and email marketing tools (Mailchimp or similar).

  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.

  • A passion for the performing arts and community engagement.

Tools & Platforms:

  • Social Management: Meta Business Suite, Later/Hootsuite

  • Design & Video: Canva Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, Adobe Express, CapCut, Final Cut Pro

  • Email Marketing: Wordfly, Mailchimp or Constant Contact

  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Meta Insights

  • Ads: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads

  • CRM Integration: PatronManager or Tessitura (if used)
