In The Mouse and The Mustache, two artistic giants—Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí—meet in 1946 Hollywood and embark on an unlikely creative partnership. United by curiosity and ambition, they set out to create the animated short Destino, blending Disney's gift for storytelling with Dalí's surrealist vision. At the heart of their collaboration is a poetic love story between Chronos, the personification of time, and a mortal woman, unfolding in a dreamscape of melting clocks and shifting landscapes.

As sketches multiply and imaginations collide, artistic passion meets practical reality. Though financial pressures halt the project, the unfinished film becomes legend. Decades later, Destino is finally completed, honoring a daring fusion of mass culture and avant-garde art—and celebrating the extraordinary friendship behind it.
