Bringing the magic of performing directly to your students after school.

Schoolsical is a no-charge after-school theatre outreach program was created in 2008 as a way to rehearse a show onsite at select schools, with final tech rehearsals and performances happening on the Stark Stage at Riverside Theatre.

Our instructors come to the school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 6:00pm for about 6 weeks depending on the time of year. During these weeks they will rehearse the show in a space at your school large enough to accommodate around 30 students.
During the last week of the program, Riverside will pay for a bus to bring the students to rehearse on-site at Riverside Theatre. The shows culminate with produced performances on Riverside's Stark Stage with tickets sold through Riverside Theatre.
Schoolsical performances use no sets or costumes, the stories come to life with our actors using their skills and imaginations to help portray the grandeur of the production.
