Southeast Premiere Riverside Theatre Presents:

My Vaudeville Man!

A Musical

October 15 – November 22, 2026

Book byJeff Hochhauser
Music byBob Johnston
Lyrics byJohnston & Hochhauser
Presenting SponsorsBobbie Olsen  ·  Proctor Construction

My Vaudeville Man! is a stirring two-person musical inspired by the true story of vaudeville performer Jack Donahue and his devoted mother, Mud. Set against the backdrop of early 20th-century America, the show traces Jack's passionate pursuit of stardom and Mud's determined efforts to shield him from the bruising realities of show business.

Dazzling tap numbers—including the inventive "Tap Drunk"—showcase Jack's exuberant talent, while tender duets and Mud's poignant solo reveal the emotional cost of ambition. By turns humorous and heartfelt, this intimate portrait explores sacrifice, pride, and the enduring bond between parent and child.
