Friends Committee
There is no us without you.
For generations, Friends Committee members have played an important role in supporting Riverside Theatre through philanthropy, volunteer service, and community leadership.
As the fundraising arm of Riverside Theatre, the Friends Committee helps plan and support signature events, including the Friends Fall Luncheon and the Spring Celebration Gala, while serving as ambassadors for one of Vero Beach's premier cultural institutions.
One of the Friends Committee's most cherished traditions is hosting Tech Dinners before each production opens. Members welcome the cast and crew with a special dinner in appreciation of the extraordinary work that brings every show to life. These evenings offer a unique opportunity to meet the artists and creative team behind the scenes and experience the excitement of opening week.
Whether your interests are event planning, hospitality, fundraising, or volunteering, there is a place for you on the Friends Committee. Together, we help ensure that Riverside Theatre continues to inspire, entertain, and enrich our community for generations to come.
Friends Committee Membership Criteria
The following are requested of all members:
Attendance: Attend at least two (2) Friends Committee meetings each season.
Support: Participate on planning committees, attend Friends Committee events, and, when possible, invite guests or host a table in support of Riverside Theatre.
Contributions: Friends Committee membership is $350 per season, supporting Tech Dinners, Friends Committee activities, and fundraising efforts that benefit Riverside Theatre.
Members are also encouraged to maintain an active Riverside Theatre Membership.
