Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL is a regionally producing theatre affiliated with Actor's Equity Association, The League of Resident Theatres, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and United Scenic Artists. Riverside Children's Theatre, the educational arm of Riverside, offers classes, camps, and training opportunities in the areas of theatre, dance, music, and video for all ages on a year round basis.

Riverside Theatre offers the area's largest adult dance program, welcoming all ages and skill levels. The focus is on building dance skills while ensuring a fun, inclusive experience—just bring a positive attitude!

Dance Classes

  • Adult Beginning Ballet: Tuesdays 8:30am-10:00am or Wednesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm

  • Adult Intermediate Ballet: Thursdays 8:30am-10:00am

  • Adult Advanced Ballet: Mondays 10:00am-11:30am

  • Adult Jazz: Wednesdays 8:30am-10:00am

  • Adult Contemporary: Tuesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm

  • Adult Beginning Tap: Mondays 6:00pm-7:30pm

  • Adult Intermediate Tap: Mondays 10:00am-11:30am

Professional Dancers

Our instructors are all either current or former professional dancers who equip students for success both in and out of the studio.

Dress Code

All adult students should dress comfortably for participation in dance classes. Genre appropriate shoes are required. We want our adults to feel confident to do their best and have fun.

For all of your dancewear needs, we recommend Scott's Sporting Goods locally. Online retailers are also an option.

Education Policies are not open to interpretation or discussion, have been developed with the latest guidelines available, and are meant to keep faculty, staff, and students safe. LEARN MORE

Refund Policy: Tuition is refundable up to three days before the first day of each class less a $15 cancellation fee. A 50% refund less a $15 cancellation fee will be given up to the second day of class. There will be NO REFUNDS after the second day of class and full tuition will be charged as well as a $15.00 cancellation fee.  

A note about our calendar and classes: The dates listed above are the ONLY dates we are closed throughout the year. We will be open all holidays that fall outside of what is listed above. Should a class fall below required number of classes (based on tuition charged), make up classes will be scheduled. Cancellations/makeup classes usually are scheduled for Saturdays between the hours of 10 and 1.
