Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL is a regionally producing theatre affiliated with Actor's Equity Association, The League of Resident Theatres, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and United Scenic Artists. Riverside Children's Theatre, the educational arm of Riverside, offers classes, camps, and training opportunities in the areas of theatre, dance, music, and video for all ages on a year round basis.

Tuition Assistance

The Riverside Theatre Education Tuition Assistance Program provides financial assistance to qualifying students.

Riverside Theatre is a non-profit cultural organization committed to providing a total theatre arts experience that entertains, challenges, and educates both adults and children.

Riverside Theatre Education Programs are dedicated to offering professional instruction and performance opportunities for the youth in this community.

Tuition Assistance gives every child the chance to participate in these transformational endeavors regardless of financial need.

Important Deadlines:

Applications must be complete for processing. Only one (1) application is needed for the entire 2024-2025 Education Season. Please submit your application within one of the four processing periods – Summer, 1st Quarter, 2nd Quarter, or 3rd Quarter.

Tuition discount recipients will be notified the week after the deadline.

  • Summer: Due May 3, 2024, by 5pm

  • 1st Quarter: Due July 26, 2024, by 5pm

  • 2nd Quarter: Due September 27, 2024, by 5pm

  • 3rd Quarter: Due January 3, 2025, by 5pm

    No additional scholarships will be awarded for the 2024-2025 Season after January 3, 2025.

Before starting the online application process below, you will need to attach the following materials as a pdf or jpg:

  • A letter written by the student ( Ages 8 and up) outlining what types of classes they would like to attend and why.

  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher, neighbor, or community leader (Non-family members please).

  • A copy of a recent student report card (Ages 8 and up). 

  • A copy of the family’s most recent Tax Form (For requests of 70% or 90% discount only). Please cover social security number(s) when sending in documents.
