Professional Apprenticeship Program
Professional Apprenticeship Program
Creating and nurturing the performers and audiences of tomorrow is the mission of RIverside's education program and the Performance Apprentices are a crucial component of that pursuit. This role is split between performance opportunities and youth education. Performance opportunities for Performance Apprentices come in the form of 3-4 touring shows for children in local schools, a Theatre for Young Audience (TYA) show, and performances at select events. Performance Apprentices also have an opportunity to audition for Riverside Theatre's professional shows, where if cast they would receive EMC points. Performance Apprentices assist with teaching classes and camps, as well as assistant directing, choreographing, and/or vocal coaching shows and outreach programs under the direction and supervision of Riverside staff.
