The BodiBalance™ Workshop

In this workshop, students will learn the basic BodiBalance Floor WarmUp, aspects of the  BodiBalance Standing WarmUp and the basic BodiBalance Principles that can be applied to their dance training on every level.  Using a system of creative mages, ideas and tactile assistance, Carol slowly takes students to a new level of body and movement awareness that translates to all their physical activities.

Working in partners, Carol will help students learn/teach each other to sense and use the BodiBalance principles in the WarmUps.  The workshop begins slowly and methodically to take students to a new and exciting level of physical understanding of dance and movement.

As the workshop progresses, students learn to apply the BodiBalance Principles in movement vocabulary that includes ballet barre and combinations, along with some modern dance combinations.

On the final day,  Carol teaches the way she normally teaches a ballet class beginning with the BodiBalance Floor WarmUp, followed by a barre and full center work -  including adagio, pirouettes, waltz combination,  petite and grande allegro.  The workshop finishes with Carol taking time to address individual problems that any student may require
