Support Us
The Role of Membership SupportAnnual membership plays a significant role in supporting Riverside Theatre’s operating budget. Membership gifts are the second largest source of income for the theatre. As a non-profit organization, Riverside counts on the generosity of our Members to help sustain our full spectrum of entertaining productions and programs.
Riverside Membership Benefits
Membership benefits may include complimentary or discounted tickets, recognition in the Playbill and on the membership plaque in the Lobby, notification of special events, and invitations to membership receptions. Best of all, as an investment in one of the area’s most respected cultural institutions, your Theatre membership also benefits our community as a whole.
An Invitation to Join
A lot has changed since Riverside Theatre first opened its doors over 33 years ago. We are proud of the place Riverside has become, but even more proud of our Members who have helped make this possible. We invite you to join them today with your tax-deductible membership contribution – your commitment to continuing the Riverside tradition of professional theatre that entertains, educates and inspires.
Support Riverside Children's Theatre
Riverside Children’s Theatre involves and benefits youth of all interests and abilities. Many of RCT’s programs are available at a reduced rate or free of charge. One-half of RCT’s income is derived from door sales and tuition; the other half must be subsidized through private donations.
Support is needed to provide these positive programs for our children. Your gift can make a difference by enabling RCT to continue to keep classes and shows affordable, employ the best youth drama specialists to mentor our youth, reach out to under-served schools and neighborhoods, offer free transportation to classes, and be a partner and resource to local community groups and schools.
• Outreach Scholarship Fund provides the means to grant financial assistance to cover tuition and provide free tickets to qualifying youth.
• Show Sponsorships help to cover production costs incurred in producing the very best in youth theatre productions.
• Festival of Trees Sponsorships support this community wide holiday celebration that is RCT’s major fund raiser to cover yearly operating costs.
• Endowment support assists in ensuring RCT’s financial future. Gifts to the Endowment Fund produce annual income that helps continue educational activities through support to the operating budget. The Anne & Jack Morton Scholarship Fund was established to provide revenue to fund, through scholarships the performing arts education for qualifying children.
