Event Description:
In its fifteenth year, the Festival of Trees marks the beginning of the holiday season as the community comes together in support of arts for children. Holidays Past and Present takes a look back as the Festival dazzles with decorated trees, a gingerbread village, Christmas Shoppe, children's activities and more. Beginning with special preview events on Friday, November 16, the Festival continues for the weekend of November 17 and 18.
Special Events:
Silver Bells Preview will give seniors an opportunity to enjoy the event before it opens to the public, giving them a chance to visit the Festival during a less crowded time. Always one of the best parties of the season, the Gala Preview Party includes a cocktail reception, entertainment and the first opportunity to view the displays and participate in the silent auction. Breakfast with Santa will feature songs and a visit with Santa, of course! The Holiday Concert returns with the Academy Orchestra taking the Stark Stage at Riverside for one performance only.
The Festival of Trees is in its 15th year with all proceeds benefiting the education and outreach programs of the non-profit Riverside Children’s Theatre that last year served more than 21,000 children and their families. The Festival has become a community-wide celebration commemorating the beginning of the holiday season. We hope you will join us! |
